1. Scope
These terms apply to the use of joinparcferme.co ("Parc Fermé"). The site is run privately by Fabian Sasse, Schwindstraße 5, 76135 Karlsruhe, Germany (see the imprint). By using the site, the event emails or the submission form, you agree to these terms.
2. What Parc Fermé offers
Parc Fermé lists car events and places worth visiting, and sends event emails to people who sign up. The service is free, has no user accounts and no advertising. We may change, pause or discontinue parts of the service at any time. There is no entitlement to a particular feature or to the site being available.
3. Event and place information
Events are organised by third parties, not by Parc Fermé. We collect the information carefully from organisers' own sources and from submissions, but dates, times, prices, access and conditions can change at short notice. Always check the organiser's information before you travel. Any registration, tickets or participation are between you and the organiser.
Places are suggestions. Respect traffic rules, private property, opening hours and local residents. Driving on public roads is subject to the road traffic regulations; nothing on this site invites you to race or drive dangerously.
4. Event emails
You can sign up for event emails without an account. You can change your preferences or unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email. See the privacy policy for how we handle your data.
5. Submissions
- Submit real events and places only. No advertising, sales listings or illegal content.
- Only upload photos you took yourself or have the right to use. Do not show identifiable people or readable number plates without the consent of those affected.
- Dates, times and addresses should be confirmed by the organiser.
- We review every submission. We may shorten, edit or decline it, or remove it later, without giving a reason. There is no entitlement to publication.
By submitting, you confirm that you are entitled to share the content. You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide right to publish, edit (for example shorten or crop), and show the content on Parc Fermé and in our event emails and social media channels, for as long as the listing exists. You keep all other rights. If your content infringes the rights of others, you are responsible for it and you indemnify us against third-party claims arising from the infringement, unless you are not at fault.
6. Liability
We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and under the German Product Liability Act. For slight negligence we are only liable if we breach an obligation that is essential for the service and on which you may regularly rely. In that case our liability is limited to the damage that was foreseeable and typical at the time. Otherwise, liability for slight negligence is excluded. As the service is provided free of charge, the statutory privileges for gratuitous services also apply.
We have no influence on the content of external websites we link to, and we are not responsible for it. If we become aware of unlawful content on a linked site, we will remove the link.
7. Reporting content
If you think a listing is wrong or infringes your rights, please write tohello@joinparcferme.co. We will check it promptly and correct or remove it where necessary.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms, for example when the service changes. The version published on this page applies from its date. We will tell event-email subscribers about material changes by email.
9. Applicable law
German law applies. If you are a consumer, this choice of law does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory provisions of the law of the country where you live. If any provision of these terms is invalid, the rest remain in effect.
